I love Barbara Barry...for years I've followed her. Remember the oval X-back chair from '98? You can see a lovely slide show of her newest collection for Baker in the most recent issue of Elle Decor. Gorgeous.

Sweet Skirt!

Audrey selected some cheerful fabric during our last outing to the craft section at the Big Box store...and I sewed her a simple skirt. Perfect for Valentine's Day. What a cutie.

Valentine's Day...Piece of Cake!

Thanks, girls, for helping me make cupcakes...we used a box cake mix (confetti) and our favorite Buttercream fosting recipe. I won't even tell you how much sugar and butter it calls for. Sinful.

Then, of course, a few sprinkles of red granular sugar. Festive. Happy Valentine's Day from me and my sweeties.

Do you remember this post awhile back? Well, my talented friend made these fancy hooks for me (really for the girls). Personalized and everything. You should see her other goods....so inspiring, right?


So now, there is a little space for each of their backpacks in the entryway. What a fun way to fight the clutter.
