Let the Games Begin

Not so glamorous, but as promised, here are the before photos of our basement project...after consulting with a home theater professional, we are on our way. We've hired the pros to do all electrical wiring.


If you can imagine from the photo above, there will be pocket doors (6-panel dark solid oak) separating the home theater (see the 100" screen on the wall!) from the lounge area.
Although it's only 700 square feet, there are a lot of decisions to be made ahead of time...like where to position the "eyeball" light over the fireplace, placement of recessed lights, sconces, etc. After nearly five years here, it feels good to get a move on.
